We have received an application seeking to extend the Development Approval for the Unhosted Short-Term Rental Accommodation (USTRA) operating from Lot 237 (No.3) Craig Mews, Safety Bay. The Applicant has confirmed that the operation of the USTRA has not changed in any way since the Development Approval was issued in March 2025.

Details of the USTRA operations are confirmed as follows:

  • A maximum of six guests and a minimum two night stay is applicable to each booking
  • check-in occurs between 3pm-7pm, with check-out required before 10am
  • a maximum of two cars are permitted per booking
  • all pets are pre-approved, and all dogs must be a minimum of two years old. No puppies accepted
  • a property manager will be on call and contactable in the event of an emergency and/or complaint.
