We have received an application seeking approval for a Section 40 Certificate (Club Restricted Liquor Licence) for the Safety Bay Football Club located in the clubrooms at Stan Twight Reserve located at Lot 302 Hennessy Way, Rockingham.

The proposal is summarised as follows:

• The application seeks permission to allow the responsible sale and supply of alcohol from the clubrooms during approved club activities and events

• typical trading hours will be:
  • training nights: 6pm–10pm
  • match days: 12pm–11pm
  • club functions/events: Up to 11:30pm

these hours may vary depending on scheduled fixtures or club events but will remain within permitted licensing conditions.

• the maximum number of patrons is approximately 50; however on infrequent club functions the attendance may increase up to 150 patrons
• the sale of alcohol is not proposed on Christmas Day
• the licenced area proposed includes the existing clubroom building and the adjoining outdoor area as depicted within the lined area on the provided plan
• no sales of packaged liquor for consumption off premises will occur
• the applicant has submitted a Harm Minimisation Plan.
