Proposal

We have received an application seeking Development Approval for Unhosted Short-Term Rental Accommodation at Lot 239 (No.13) Carlisle Street, Shoalwater.

The proposal is summarised as follows:

  • The dwelling comprises of three bedrooms and one bathroom, with space available for two parking bays in the driveway of the property
  • the USTRA will accommodate up to a maximum of six guests
  • each booking will require a minimum two night stay
  • all bookings will be managed through online booking platforms
  • guest check-in will occur between 12pm-6pm, with check-out occurring by 10am
  • any complaints are managed by the property owners or an appointed local contact who will be available at all times to attend situations as required
  • house rules include the following:
    • no smoking indoors
    • no parties permitted
    • quiet hours after 10pm.
