We have received an application seeking development approval for an amendment to development approval (Home Business: Caravan Restoration) at Lot 27 (No.7) Baltic Mews, Waikiki. The land was previously temporarily approved by the City and the applicant is now seeking to obtain permanent approval.

The proposal details are as follows:

• The proposal is to refurbish caravans on the property
• only one project caravan will be onsite at any time
• Hours of operation will generally be from 9.30am-4pm, Monday to Friday
• only portable/rechargeable hand tools will be used
• no spray paining is to be undertaken as part of the home business operations
• up to eight caravan projects will be completed in a year
• no mechanical repairs to be carried out onsite
• any window re-glazing or tyre replacement will occur offsite.
