Notice is given of the City's intent to surrender Reserve 43443 (R43443) to create a 'Conservation Park' with the Management Order transferred to the Conservation and Parks Commission.

The purpose is to create a ‘Class A’ Reserve for Anstey Swamp with responsibility for the reserve being transferred to the Conservation and Parks Commission for management by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA).

The proposed change in tenure arrangement of R43443 is consistent with the Rockingham Lakes Regional Park Management Plan, which has been previously endorsed by the City of Rockingham Council and DBCA.

Submissions close 4.30pm on Thursday 21 May 2026.
