Proposal
We have received an application seeking Development Approval to use Lot 23 (No.10) Victoria Street, Rockingham for Unhosted Short-Stay Rental Accommodation, as detailed below:
- The application includes the use of all five units situated on the subject property, comprising
- unit 1: one bedroom, one bathroom unit
- units 2-4: two bedroom, two bathroom units
- one car bay is provided for each unit in addition to one visitor bay provided for the development.
- a maximum of:
- two guests may occupy Unit 1 at any time
- four guests may occupy Units 2-4 at any one time
- a minimum stay of two nights is required, except for Christmas and Easter when a minimum stay of four nights is required
- the check-in time will be 10am-6pm, and check-out time will be by 10am each day
- parties and events will not be permitted, with quiet hours between 10pm-7am Monday to Saturday, and 10pm-9am on Sunday and public holidays
- the majority of guest are expected to be corporate guests
- Rockingham Apartments will be the Property Manager and will act as the primary contact for any disturbances or complaints
- a house management plan has been submitted to support the application.
