The City of Rockingham is developing a new Reconciliation Strategy, which will replace our current Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
What’s the difference?
- A Reconciliation Action Plan outlines specific actions and commitments the City will deliver.
- A Reconciliation Strategy sets the broader long-term direction — the vision, priorities and focus areas that will guide reconciliation efforts over several years. The Strategy will help shape future actions, programs and partnerships that recognise and celebrate Nyoongar culture across Rockingham.
We want this Strategy to reflect the aspirations of our community. That’s why we’re inviting you to share your thoughts.
How you can get involved.
You can take part by completing our short online survey and tell us:
- What reconciliation means to you
- What you’d like to see included in the Strategy
- Your ideas for strengthening relationships and supporting positive shared social change in Rockingham
Your input will help shape the Reconciliation Strategy 2026–2031 and ensure it reflects our community’s values and hopes for the future.
