Proposal

We have received an application seeking Development Approval for Unhosted Short-Term Rental Accommodation at 17 Esplanade, Rockingham.

The proposal is summarised as follows:

  • The dwelling comprises of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with space available for two parking spaces on site in a double garage
  • a maximum of seven guests may occupy the premises at any one time, and non-registered guests will be required to leave the property by 10pm each night
  • each booking will require a minimum stay of two nights and a maximum of three months
  • the check-in time will be 2pm and check-out time will be by 10am
  • parties and events will not be permitted, with quiet hours from 10pm-7am Monday to Saturday and 10pm-9am on Sunday and public holidays
  • HostEzy will act as the property management with a 24/7 local contact available for any disturbances or complaints
  • a house management plan has been submitted to support the application.
